Our new video highlights the company’s 50-year journey, as told by the Stoltzfus family and fellow employees. The video can be viewed here.

Special thanks to Garrity Powers of GP Film & Photography for his help with this project and for capturing our story so well.

Employee Celebration
More than 100 employees and their guests gathered September 8-9th at Skytop Lodge in the Pocono Mountains for a special company retreat. Employees enjoyed a variety of team activities including ziplining, kayaking, hiking, biking and golfing.

A special banquet capped off the weekend and showcased the company’s history and the accomplishments of our talented employees, who have made us what we are today.

A Brief Look Back
In 1968, Elam G. Stoltzfus began his journey of building custom homes in Lancaster County. After working for some time as a remodeler out of his garage and a small barn, he was asked to build a home for his cousin and her husband.

With his own hands and the hired help of a 15-year old Amish boy, Elam built his first home. He was asked to build another, and another. Soon, EGStoltzfus was born.

From day one, Elam focused on cultivating personal relationships with everyone he worked with – clients, colleagues and trade partners. Today, as EGStoltzfus celebrates its 50th anniversary, our employees carry on Elam’s legacy of building long-lasting relationships and producing quality construction for neighborhood & custom homes, remodeling & additions, and commercial projects.
