Celebrating Women In Construction Week: Katie Herbine

As part of Women In Construction Week, EGStoltzfus is proud to spotlight some of the talented women who help shape the homes and communities we build.

Meet Katie Herbine, Design Studio Coordinator, whose passion and expertise have made her an invaluable part of the EGStoltzfus team.

From Marketing to Design

Katie started her career with EGS 6 years ago as Marketing Coordinator.

Today, as Design Studio Coordinator, she helps customers personalize their dream spaces – an aspect of her job that she loves. Katie’s ability to connect with people and understand their unique visions allows her to create homes that are as functional as they are beautiful.

“I love how everyone’s vision and goals for their home are different. Being part of the design process and helping our clients create something truly personal is so rewarding,” Katie shares.

A Foundation in Creativity

Katie holds a bachelor’s degree from Millersville University.

She is also a Certified DC PRO (Design Consultant Professional). Her passion for interior design and decorating stems from her upbringing.

“I get my design bug from my dad, who has always enjoyed a home renovation project,” she says. That early exposure to hands-on creativity sparked her love for the work she does today.

Beyond the Job Site

When she’s not designing dream spaces, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephews. She also loves decorating her own spaces and finding creative outlets through interior design.

If you ask her where to grab a bite in Lancaster, she’ll recommend Quips Pub – the fish tacos have her stamp of approval!

And while Katie doesn’t identify as much of a sports fan (her response to her favorite team is simply, “Sports??”), she’s definitely scored a home run in her role at EGStoltzfus!
